Can't scan? Add it by hand
Use this if you are reading this page on the same iPhone.
- Copy the setup link above.
- In 2FA Live, tap + and choose Enter Key Manually.
- Paste into the secret key field. The app fills in the name, algorithm, digits and period for you. Then tap Save.
Prefer to type it? Enter "2FA Live Test" as the name and copy the setup key into the secret key field. Spaces are fine. If you chose other code types above, open Advanced and set the same algorithm, digits and period.
You can also tap Save QR image, then in the scanner choose From Photos.
This is a public test key that protects nothing, and everything is calculated in your browser. Delete the test account from the app when you are done: on the free plan it uses one of your 5 accounts.
If the codes do not match
- Open iOS Settings, then General, then Date & Time, and turn on Set Automatically. Then check the computer showing this page does the same.
- If you chose other code types above, make sure the app uses the same algorithm, digits and period. Each code type is added as a separate test account.
- Still different? Email fengzy1024@outlook.com with a screenshot of the app and of this page. Do not include setup keys from your real accounts.
